Theraputic child care services began in 2002. This service was developed by Department of Human Services (DHS). The program provides specialized services to children with special needs. This allows children the opportunity to participate, learn, and play with typically developing peers. Therapeutic Child Care Services help to better meet the needs of families with children of special needs. Through inclusion, children with special needs have a great opportunity to socialize, communicate, and develop a multitude of skills in an educational setting. Click here for more information.
