Dr. Day Care was honored to be part of the 5th Annual Child Care Awareness Day on Thursday, April 14, 2016. This year's celebration was a great opportunity to highlight the importance of early childhood education. Childcare centers, family childcare home providers, community agencies, and childcare provider agencies all gathered at the State House to raise awareness about the importance of quality child care. Kids Klub 5K fundraising event – 5/15/16
Did you know that Dr. Day Care also has a school age sister-company? Kids Klub is a non-profit child care organization that was co-founded by Dr. Mary Ann Shallcross Smith and Dr. Karen Annetti in 1987. Originally a single location in Lincoln, RI, Kids Klub has evolved into multiple locations throughout Rhode Island. Donations to Foster Forward & Autism Speaks
Thank you to everyone who participated in our Dress Down Days! Each year, we offer our teachers the opportunity to participate in fun spirit week dress days, for only a $1 donation. This year our staff chose Foster Forward and Autism Speaks to receive our donations. We enjoyed "Decades Day," "Sports Day," "Ugly Sweater Day," and "Pajama Day."
