Congratulations to our Employee of the Season - Spring 2025
Some feedback from coworkers includes:

As a mother, college student, and lead toddler teacher; Sam truly does it all! She graduated college this past Spring, while still demonstrating full commitment to her classroom and her students. Sam sincerely treats those who surround her with love, support, and kindness. I love watching the toddlers grow under her care! We ADORE Miss Sam at DDC Cumberland!

Sam is truly what it means to be a teacher. She puts everything into what she does and she really truly cares. Not only is she a teacher but she’s also a parent. She works so hard and I hope she knows how appreciated she is. She’s always willing to lend a helping hand and I know I can always count on her! She is just awesome!

As a full-time employee, recent graduate, and devoted mother of two, she continues to show up each day with a positive attitude and a smile, no matter the challenges she faces. She plays a crucial role in the success of our team, especially in the toddler room, where she brings structure, creativity, and meaningful engagement. Her presence creates a nurturing and supportive environment for both children and coworkers alike. She is always ready to lend a helping hand, share a laugh, or step in where needed—never expecting recognition but always deserving of it. Her dedication and resilience truly deserve to be recognized.

Ariana Carter: Ariana is someone who you can tell is truly passionate about her work and everything she does for Dr. Day Care. She is incredibly kind and hard-working. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Ariana only a few times but each time felt like working with an old friend. She has learned very quickly and also isn’t afraid to make a call and ask questions. I truly admire Ariana’s drive and work ethic, she has been a great asset to DDC.

Lauren Anderson: Lauren is a hard worker and valued team member. She is very helpful and always willing to help wherever needed.

Bayla Muthersbaugh: Bayla is an integral part of the Kids Klub Northern team. Bayla has an amazing connection with all of the children, especially since she is the only staff who has been at Northern for the whole school year. The students know they can confide in Bayla and they feel safe when she is around. As a staff member, Bayla is kind and welcoming to everyone who comes through Northern, making everyone feel welcome when they are here. As an administrator, I can say that Bayla has easily been my biggest helper since I moved to Northern this past year. I can always rely on her to run the room, inform me about things that have happened before I started, and her knowing so much about the kiddos has been a great help. Bayla is a shining example of how to be a TA in Kids Klub, and we are very lucky to have her at Northern.

She is someone who truly deserves it and is a great fit for the role. I’m nominating her for these very reasons.

Edith Baptista: Edith is the most selfless person I know. I just recently had my son when I started working at DDC Central Falls myself and her welcoming presence along with her kindness makes the transition and the levels of trust much stronger. She has been incredibly helpful with helping me in my teaching skills along with also looking out for us and making sure we are heard. All the parents from what I have seen trust her so very much and love stopping to just chat with her as well. She is very much loved and appreciated in our center which goes to show how great of a teacher and friend she is!

Kayla David: Kayla is an exceptional teacher. She truly cares about each and every child, and family, in her classroom and goes out of her way to show this. She sends home educational projects for the children to work on and return, to help bridge the communication between Dr. Day Care and home, and this paves the way for children to become life-long learners. Her classroom bursts with education in every nook and cranny and the social emotional learning her children are experiencing are very apparent when you walk into her class. She is also a great coworker and mentor to other teachers and you can see their respect and admiration for her.
