Additional supports for children in childcare
Please help! My son has been kicked out of three child care centers and he is only three years old! His teachers tell me each time that he is a handful to care for. I am a full time working mother and I cannot afford to stay home with him. I am also concerned that his behavior issues are not typical. His older brother who is 9 years old is having similar problems and I am getting reports from his after school program that he could possibly be asked to leave the program. Winter Passport to the World
We are excited to offer a new event at Dr. Day Care Smithfield this year- the Winter Passport to the World! This fun, free event should be great for the whole family. It will be held on Saturday, February 20th from 10:00-12:00. This event was inspired by our annual Breakfast with Santa that we hold each year in December. Dr. Day Care was honored to be part of the #dstrong movement. Our learning centers all participated in this event to help Dorian in his wish to be famous. Yesterday was declared "DStrong Day" to honor Dorian of Westerly, RI. Dorian was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer at 4 years old. He is 7 now and fighting a relapse of his cancer.
